SCOTTISH BEEF EVENT

The Scottish Beef Association (SBA), working in conjunction with the National Beef Association (NBA), has confirmed that the Scottish Beef Event 2027 will take place on Thursday, June 3, 2027, at Strathisla Farms, Islabank, Perthshire by kind permission of host farmer Adrian Ivory.

Widely regarded as one of the most important dates in the Scottish beef calendar, the event will bring together beef producers, industry specialists and trade exhibitors from across Scotland and beyond for a full day of practical demonstrations, technical insight and discussion.

Visitors can expect to see a broad range of cattle enterprises in action including commercial suckler cows alongside Simmental, Charolais, Hereford and Beef Shorthorn genetics.

Demonstrations will cover beef systems from birth to slaughter, youngstock management and a state-of-the-art cattle handling system. There will also be a strong focus on profitability, performance recording and the practical use of figures and EBVs in commercial decision-making.
