BRITISH WAGYU SHOWCASED AT WORLD'S LARGEST FOOD EXPO

October 10, 2025 Wagyu Admin

AHDB’s ‘Quality Meat from Britain’ stand at Anuga was busy throughout

British Wagyu representatives recently headed to Cologne, Germany for Anuga, the world’s largest food and drink expo where Warrendale Wagyu was part of AHDB’s impressive ‘Quality Meat from Britain’ stand. With 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries and over 140,000 visitors across the five days, Anuga was held 4-8 October 2025.

This was a fantastic opportunity to meet with existing and prospective clients, both retail and wholesale, from all around the world. BWA’s Richard Saunders was in attendance alongside Warrendale’s Tom Richardson, Em Buckby and Grace Walker who were joined by representatives from partners including Freedown Food, Aldi, FlatIron, Eastern Point and Gourmet Tallow in a fantastic celebration of premium British Wagyu beef!

Meetings were also held with Uwe Jerathe, Ronald Haake and Robert Becker from the German Wagyu Association to further ties within the World Wagyu Council which now comprises 14 members internationally.
