Our membership comprises a diversity of individuals and businesses from pedigree Wagyu breeders, commercial producers, processors and those in the genetics, animal health and machinery sectors, to butchers, retailers, chefs and restaurateurs. Membership is for anyone who wishes to play a part on moulding the future of the Wagyu breed in the UK & Ireland.
Two categories of membership are available. Full Membership is primarily for those who already have Wagyu beef to register with the WBA's exclusive tagging and DNA verification service, or who are considering entering the Wagyu beef market and wish to take full advantage of the comprehensive package of Members Benefits available. Anyone with interest in the Wagyu breed, and who wants to be part of a dynamic Wagyu partnership in the UK and Ireland can join as a Friend of the Wagyu Breeders Association, and will be kept up to date with industry news and events plus receive Member-only updates direct from the WBA.
